Most bite sleeves consist of two parts, the cover and the protection or sleeve it self.
Many covers are made of a durable linen fabric and it is padded for maximum protection and quilted for added durability and comfort. Many dog bite sleeves can be ambidextrous so either it may be used on the left or right arm. Typically, they are constructed out of a harder to penetrate material ranging from thick rubber to Kevlar. Some bite sleeves are designed to work under the cover or clothing so that the dog has a more realistic interaction with the decoy. Many sleeves use Velcro to make them adjustable and fit properly on the decoys arm.
